Market Pulse Japan is an independent research beta for comparing a small, approximate sample of public marketplace listings.

What the beta does

A search opens public Yahoo! Auctions and Mercari result pages and returns visible listing titles, prices, image links, source links, and timestamps. Coverage can be incomplete or temporarily unavailable.

How searches are handled

Search phrases are processed only to perform the requested comparison. Recent-search history stays on your device. The beta does not require an account and does not store marketplace login credentials.

Abuse prevention

The server temporarily processes network addresses in memory for rate limiting. Operational logs use aggregate counters and short one-way query fingerprints rather than complete search phrases.

Reasonable use

Use the beta for occasional product research. Do not automate requests, attempt to bypass marketplace controls, or treat the visible sample as a complete sales record.

Marketplace rights

Listing content belongs to its respective marketplace, seller, or rights holder. Always use the original source link for current details. This beta is not affiliated with Yahoo! Japan or Mercari.

Payments and paid access

If a paid plan is offered, payment is processed by Stripe. The beta receives only the payment status and identifiers needed to activate access; card details do not pass through this site.

Beta availability

The service is provided for evaluation without guaranteed accuracy, completeness, or uptime. Access may be limited or paused to protect the marketplaces and the beta service.
